Our Team

Kelly has worked in the accounting field for over 35 years. She began her career in banking before spending 17 years in the accounting department of a local magazine. From there, she worked for a group of optometry clinics, where she managed all aspects of accounting, payroll, and human resources, while also building a small clientele of her own as a contract bookkeeper.

In 2016, Kelly opened Accounting Elements and continued to grow her client base, providing accounting and bookkeeping services to businesses across various industries.

Kelly’s two grown children play an active role in Accounting Elements, working alongside her as bookkeepers in the family-owned and operated business.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys watching football, baseball, and hockey and attending games whenever she can. She also loves reading, baking, and spending time with family and friends, as well as her two dachshunds, Doug and Norm. When her schedule allows, she loves to travel and explore new places with family and friends, but especially enjoys relaxing in Cabo San Lucas, her favorite destination.

Kira is a bookkeeper who enjoys helping businesses stay organized and running smoothly. She began her career in the Optical industry as a technician and eventually moving into an office manager role before joining her family's bookkeeping business. Being part of the family business makes her work especially meaningful, and she loves supporting clients while working alongside her mother and brother.

Kira's primary focus in the business is payroll processing; her attention to detail and commitment to accuracy help ensure everything is completed correctly and on time. She takes pride in keeping payroll organized to ensure our clients’ payroll needs are met. 

Outside of work, Kira enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and cats. She loves watching movies with her husband, antiquing and thrifting, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  

Ryan came from a construction background, which included plumbing, and HVAC. He made the decision to switch career paths, join the family business and help grow the company after seeing its potential. He saw it as a great opportunity and career investment, and has dedicated himself to learning and becoming proficient at bookkeeping. Ryan loves his job, is highly motivated and sees every day as an opportunity to grow as an employee and continue to increase his role within the company.

When Ryan is not working, he loves spending time with his dog Cal, his friends and his family. He is a Seattle sports fanatic and a lifelong Mariners and Seahawks fan. Ryan also enjoys playing softball on the weekends or whenever he gets the chance, frequently traveling with his team to compete in tournaments across the state and sometimes out of state. He collects vinyl, loves music of all different genres, enjoys working out at the gym and loves traveling and being outdoors.
